The longest line on Earth!

Yikes! I have been meaning to post for a while, but I always find something else to do and now it's been since September and here it is Halloween. Well October has been a busy month for me and Amy. We were treated in the middle of the month to a week vacation in Southern California. Thanks Mom and Dad we had a lot of fun. One of the highlights of the trip for us came on the first day. I served my mission in Long Beach which is like 15 minutes from Disneyland, so as we flew in on Sunday morning into the Long Beach airport, we got to go to the Lakewood 4th ward for Sacrament meeting. After getting us almost lost, we found our way there. It was great walking in and recognizing a lot faces who I loved and served with. We were there for Fast Sunday and were able to take in the wonderful testimonies of these faithful Saints. After Sacrament was over, Amy, Derek (my little brother) and I went to the Gospel Essentials Class that traditionally the new members and investigators attend. When we got there they were discussing General Conference and sharing what they had learned and how it had affected there testimonies. After everyone had had a chance to share, Brother Hoyos who was leading the discussion told us that they didn't have a teacher and were unsure what to do next. Someone had a question about the gospel and after a few minutes of discussion I found myself at the front of the room teaching. It was exhilarating teaching again and the memories from my mission came flooding back. It was a sweet moment.
We had other highlights as we were able to enjoy everyone's company at Disneyland... Amy almost seven months pregnant was certainly a trooper and was very kind in being so willing to sit off the more extreme rides with one or two of the kids and wait. She was very understanding and a big help to us! I love you sweet pea!... I think the place we loved the most was Sea World it was a lot less busy and we just love aquatic life. It was fun to feed the dolphins (thanks go to Derek for "saving the day"!) and to be able to pet them and be literally inches from those majestic creatures. All in all we had a great time visiting the longest line on earth!
In other news: Amy just had another appointment with the doctor. After measuring the baby the doctor said that he is a bit bigger than normal development, I don't remember the exact numbers sorry. But she also said that it looks and sounds like both mom and baby are healthy.
